Lemon Tea – Simple & Refreshing

Introduction

Lemon tea is a simple yet refreshing drink made with minimal ingredients.

Ingredients

  • Pinch of Himalayan salt (optional)

  • Raw honey (optional)

  • Fresh ginger slices (optional)

  • Mint leaves (optional)

  • Cinnamon stick (optional)

Step-by-Step Instructions

  1. Heat the water: Boil water

  2. Prepare the lemon: Roll the lemon on the counter to release juice, cut in half, use only one half of the lemon, put the other half up, cut two slices of lemon from the half being used for garnish, and squeeze the remaining juice from the lemon in your mug or pitcher.

  3. Sweeten: Add honey or your chosen sweetener in mug or pitcher.

  4. Pour: Once the water is completely done boiling, add to a mug or pitcher, then let it cool for about 10 minutes before drinking.

  5. Serve: For hot lemon tea, serve immediately. For iced lemon tea, let the tea cool, add ice cubes, and enjoy.
